★ Tone Notes

Pairing a .022µF Silver Foil Vitamin Q capacitor with 250K pots produces a slightly lighter high-end roll-off than a .047µF setup, allowing more midrange to come through while keeping the lows tight and the highs clear. Because a .022µF capacitor primarily affects the high frequencies, it delivers greater clarity, note separation, and harmonic detail, enhancing articulation without harshness. The silver foil construction further boosts harmonic richness and presence, making this an exceptional choice for players seeking premium Telecaster tone with glassy articulation and balanced warmth.

Is it excessive? Too much? Maybe. But I built it anyway for the most discriminating player — the one chasing a pure, uncompromised signal with zero weak links.

★ Compatibility

Fits most USA Fender Telecaster models with standard control plates.

Also compatible with most Squire Telecaster models; however, factory components (typically Alpha-brand pots) use smaller metric-sized shafts and mounting holes, so careful reaming may be required to fit ⅜” CTS pots.

In addition, the CRL switch’s throw distance may require light filing of the blade slot to ensure full neck and bridge position engagement.

This harness is wired in the modern Telecaster configuration — one master volume, one master tone, and a 3-way selector switch (bridge / bridge+neck / neck).
