SG Pre-Wired Kit (VitaminQ Spec)

• Potentiometers: (4) CTS 500K Split Shaft, Knurled, Short Shaft (3/8” length), 24-Spline, Audio Taper

• Capacitors:

  –.015µF Jupiter VitaminQ Capacitors (Neck)

       –.022µF Jupiter  VitaminQ Capacitors (Bridge)

  (Vitamin-Q: Paper-in-Vitamin-Q Oil Construction)

• Jack: Switchcraft Dual-Contact ¼” Mono Jack (Nickle)

• Toggle Switch: Switchcraft RIght Angle (Nickel)

• Wire: Vintage-spec cloth push-back wire (Upgrade to pure 5N Silver 20AWG for lead wiring)

• Ground Bus: 16 AWG tinned copper

• Solder: Sn63/Pb37 rosin core for superior flow and strength

• Optional: Volume treble bleed circuit

★ Compatibility

Fits most USA Gibson SG models with flat tops and short shaft (3/8”) pots.

Will also fit most Epiphone SG models; however, note that factory components (typically Alpha-brand pots) use smaller metric-sized shafts and holes.

To install this kit on Epiphone models, pot holes must be carefully reamed out to accommodate ⅜” CTS potentiometers and US-sized hardware.
