Service Description

Un-bound rosewood and ebony fingerboards are some of the most rewarding to work on—and when your frets are too far gone for a level, this full re-fret is the reset your guitar deserves. We remove the worn frets, prep the board for a clean surface, and install your choice of fret size for a fresh, responsive feel.

What’s included:

★ Full removal of old frets and cleaning of fret slots
★ Fingerboard leveling and re-radiusing for proper relief—compound available if requested
★ Installation of new fret wire (medium jumbo, vintage, jumbo, EVO, etc.)
★ Crowning and mirror polishing for clean feel, smooth bends, and spot-on intonation
★ Complete Pro Setup: truss rod, action, intonation, nut slot shaping, hardware check, deep cleaning, and full restring
★ Fingerboard conditioning and body polish to keep it looking and feeling dialed in

A new nut is not included but is often recommended after a re-fret for best results—quoted at a discounted rate if needed.
