The Precision Bass is famous for its punch, midrange authority, and simplicity. This harness keeps that legacy intact — but sharpens the focus.

Pairing a Jupiter Condenser Co. PURE SILVER FOIL .022µF capacitor with CTS pots, Switchcraft hardware, and Pure 5N Silver Lead Wire unlocks tighter bass response, smoother roll-off, and increased definition across the entire range.

If you’ve ever felt like your tone was a little too murky or dull when rolling back the knob, this kit clears the fog.

• Silver foil caps refine the tone sweep, adding:

 – Smooth, usable roll-off from bright to dark

 – Crisp articulation in the high mids and treble

 – Less blanket-effect when rolling off tone

 – More nuanced dynamics, whether you’re thumping with flats or digging in with a pick

• The .022µF value tightens up the tone response compared to the usual .047µF setups. It keeps the low-end punch and warmth that Precision Bass players love, but with added clarity, mid articulation, and a more musical feel under the fingers.

Also compatible with most Squier Precision Bass models; however, factory components (typically Alpha-brand pots) use smaller metric-sized shafts and mounting holes, so careful reaming may be required to fit ⅜” CTS pots.

This harness is wired in the typical Precision Bass configuration — one master volume and one master tone.
